Jinming Machinery has established our fifth strategic partnership with a leading film manufacturer in Shandong, China, successfully delivering a 5-layer co-extrusion 3.5-meter-wide blown film line integrated with an in-line MDO unit. This marks a significant milestone in the advancement of high-end film equipment manufacturing in China.



The newly delivered M5B-3500Q-C-MDO model is the first domestically produced ultra-wide 5-layer co-extrusion blown film line in China featuring an in-line MDO unit. This line stands out for its diversified product capability and outstanding performance. It is engineered for the production of PE heat shrink film, stretch hood film, inner and outer silage films, and high-stiffness MDOPE lamination films. The inner silage film can reach a width of 3000 mm, and after multiple MDO stretching times, the main roll width of the finished film reaches up to 2560 mm. The daily output of the outer silage film can reach 16.8 tons. This system empowers customers to handle a wide variety of orders efficiently, gain competitive advantages, and capture new market opportunities.



The extrusion system adopts a unique screw design and is equipped with an eroupean imported PIB liquid injection system, fed through small holes in the screw feeding section. The die features a 5-layer co-extrusion center-fed spiral mandrel structure, precision-manufactured by Germany’s DMG 5-axis machining center, ensuring mold accuracy and uniform material distribution. The die lip can be replaced to accommodate different film products.



The cooling system integrates an IBC (Internal Bubble Cooling) unit for real-time hot/cold air exchange, combined with an automatic air ring and online thickness measurement system to achieve high precision, low air resistance, and uniform film cooling. The rotating haul-off system effectively prevents common issues such as tapered or wavy edges, significantly enhancing print quality.



Jinming’s self-developed MDO stretching system supports dual film travelng road to adapt to different product specifications. It features an infinitely adjustable gap stretching design, allowing a stretching ratio from 1 to 10 times. The MDO inlet is equipped with tension sensors to enable closed-loop tension control, and the system reaches a maximum mechanical line speed of 250 m/min. An innovative second-stage metering thickness control system significantly reduces edge trimming—by up to 50%—based on the neck-in characteristics of MDO films.



The WSD-3500V fully automatic double-station winder employs a swing-arm winding mechanism with automatic core loading, roll changing, and unloading. The maximum winding width is 3300mm. It includes a core positioning system and finished product handling system for easy unloading and transportation.



The entire line uses a Siemens centralized control system with a touchscreen HMI. The intuitive interface allows operators to precisely control process parameters, enabling smart on-site monitoring and remote diagnostics. It also offers interfaces for data exchange with multiple sources, ensuring seamless information flow and integration.
